About RESPOND-A
RESPOND-A project aims at developing holistic and easy-to-use solutions for First Responders by bringing together the complementary strengths of its Investigators in 5G wireless communications, Augmented and Virtual Reality, autonomous robot and unmanned aerial vehicle coordination, intelligent wearable sensors and smart monitoring, geovisual analytics and immersive geospatial data analysis, passive and active localization and tracking, and interactive multi-view 360o video streaming.

conference
The final conference of the project was held on the 25th of April 2023 in Nicosia at CERIDES – European University Cyprus. Apart from the overview and the results of all pilot projects carried out in several countries, it offered the possibility both on-site and online to any interested party to join and see the important technology that was produced, tested and implemented in the framework of this project: sensors and smart wearables, critical communication systems and other rescuer connectivity technologies, data fusion tools the coordination of rescuers’ data as well as other technologies for the development of RESPOND-A.
